Is it normal for your jaw to click or lock while eating?
If your jaw clicks, locks or makes noises while you are chewing or eating, it might be a sign of TMJ. Some other symptoms are:
Is it hard to open or close your mouth?
Do you clench or grind your teeth?
Do you feel that your bite is off or your teeth don't "fit" together?
These symptoms could mean you have TMJ. You might want to talk to your dentist and see if you need any treatment or a nightguard to help prevent it from getting any worse.
