Had my wisdom teeth extracted, how long should I be feeling pain?
Everyone tolerates pain differently but I will share with you my experience. The day of the surgery I was quite anxious because I had no clue what to expect. The actual procedure was fairly quick. When I woke up from the anesthesia my face was a bit swollen and numb but the pain was bearable. The part that was the most painful for me was having to sit upright in an uncomfortable position all of the time while my mouth was healing. I am sure you will receive appropriate pain medication and as long as you follow your doctors instructions for aftercare, the pain should subside. Don't be nervous. It really isn't that bad. And remember to reach out to your doctor if the pain persists.
