So, while I was flossing yesterday, I noticed that there was some bleeding. Was I being too aggressive? Should I take a break?
I'm on the editorial team at dentistry.com and we have some articles on the site that you should check out. The short answer, though, is that most people's gums bleed occasionally. It's normal. Bleeding gums may mean that a deeper cleaning may be needed. Definitely have a dentist take a look to determine the underlying issue.
